Earth Retention

Earth retention is a method to permanently shoring or stabilizing soil/rock that has been removed from an excavation, cut or slope. This is typically done to gain back real estate and maximize buildable land.
Design / Build
The traditional approach for construction projects consists of the appointment of a designer on one side, and the appointment of a contractor on the other side. The design–build procurement route changes the traditional sequence of work. It answers the client's wishes for a single point of responsibility in an attempt to reduce risks and overall costs.
Segmental Retaining Walls
Segmental retaining walls are modular block retaining walls used for vertical grade change applications. The walls are designed and constructed using geosynthetic or tension resisting material.
Large Block Retaining Walls
Gravity, reinforced, freestanding, and hybrid walls come together to create optimized solutions.
Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Retaining Walls
A Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining wall is a composite structure consisting of alternating layers of compacted backfill and soil reinforcement elements, fixed to a wall facing.
Support of Excavation (SOE)
Support of Excavation (SOE) Systems are temporary earth-retaining systems intended to control the soil to facilitate a safe and efficient space for construction.
