There are a variety of permeable materials used depending on your projects’ location, size and design scheme. Permeable pavers (also known as interlocking concrete pavers) are made of layers of concrete that have joints filled with tiny stones. Water seeps in through these joints, through the open graded gravel base and into the earth. The joints make these pavers 100 percent permeable, which promotes the natural water cycle.
